Recipe: Pumpkin Spice Bread

Pumpkin Spice Bread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 cups sugar
  • 2 cups applesauce
  • 8 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 (30 ounce) can pumpkin
  • 7 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 cup water

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease four 9” x 5” x 3” loaf pans and set aside.
  2. Combine sugar, applesauce, eggs, and pumpkin in large mixing bowl until blended well.
  3. Combine dry ingredients in another bowl, and slowly add to the pumpkin mixture, alternating the
    dry mix with water.
  4. Pour mixture into the four loaf pans. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes clean
    from the center of the loaf.
  5. Cool in pans for 10 minutes, and then remove loaves from pans to finish cooling on wire racks.
  6. When bread is completely cool, serve with a dollop of whipped cream, or wrap with kraft paper and
    finish with our Pumpkin Spice Bread Labels.
